Front & Rear Audible Alert Parking Sensor Package with 8 sensors £99.99
This package consists of 2x C4000 Kits, 4 Sensors for the Front & 4 for the Rear, containing:
Sensors:
The sensors should be mounted on a vertical surface at 50cm or higher from the ground.
The sensors are supplied with optional angled collars that fit between the bumper and sensor to enable you to angle the face of the sensors away from the ground if you are fitting them to a vehicle with a curved bumper.
All our sensors are supplied in black. If you want the sensors colour coded then they can be spray painted using the same paint and colour as your car.
Front Sensor Kit When fitting a Audible alert Parking Sensor kit to the front there are typically two issues that need to worked around:
(1) The front kit needs to be powered either by a manual switch or our automatic smart switch. The manual switch can be a toggle switch sourced cheaply from a car accessory shop or if you prefer you can obtain a switch from the vehicle manufacturer to match the dashboard. As an optional extra we can supply a Front Parking Sensor Smart switch to automatically power the front parking sensor kit when reverse gear is engaged and maintain power for approximately 30 seconds following the disengagement of reverse gear. After 30 seconds the front sensors will automatically switch off. Click here for details of our Accessories.
(2) Depending on the length of the vehicle bonnet you will probably need longer sensor cables. The standard "sensor to CPU" cable length is 3 metres, we supply the kit designated for the Front with 7 metre cable lengths to enable you to route the cable around the engine bay. Benefits of this Package over a Combined Front & Rear System with LCD display: (1) Easier installation. Fitting two kits to a vehicle is actually easier than fitting a single combined front & rear kit because you are only working at one end of the vehicle at a time and sensors cables do not need to be routed through the cabin. With a combined front/rear kit you only have one control box and cables need to be routed the entire length of the vehicle. Routing the cables is one of the most time consuming tasks when installing a parking sensor kit. (2) Independent buzzers. This front & rear package results in having two buzzers, one installed in the rear and one in the front (beneath the dashboard). This means that when the front sensors have detected an object the beeping comes from the front, and when an object is behind you, the beeping comes from the back of the car. System Activation Reverse Parking Sensor Kit is automatically activated when reverse gear is engaged.
